Black and grey mid-calf Socks in Super-Durable Merino Wool, by Mazarin.
These super-durable wool socks feature the easiest-to-match pattern. The black is contrasted with subtle light grey stripes. You can therefore wear these tone-on-tone socks with black or dark shoes in formal outfits. The result is understated and elegant, with a touch of originality.
Super-durable merino wool provides warmth, softness, and comfort during the cold season. The polyamide reinforcement significantly improves resistance to wear and helps the knit retain its shape for longer.
Knitted in Italy, these socks are hand-linked stitch by stitch for greater comfort around the toes. The toes and heels are also reinforced to improve their durability.

We offer three sock heights:
1- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are long socks that reach just below the knee, right above the calf curve.
Advantages: they provide better hold and fully cover the shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with dress pants.

2- Crew Socks
Height: crew socks are short socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantage: they are suitable for people who wear slim-fit pants.

3- No-Show Socks
Height: no-show socks are very short socks. Two cutouts: one for sneakers that reaches below the ankle bone and one for loafers that reaches below the instep.
Advantage: no-show socks are invisible in sneakers or loafers but still protect your feet and shoes.

Black socks: really essential?
Black socks are often presented as an absolute basic… but is it really the best choice? More versatile, navy blue often offers a more elegant alternative, while very dark shades remain easy to match—provided you don’t overlook certain trouser/shoe combinations.
Before automatically opting for black, it’s better to understand its limits and uses: in two minutes, you’ll see that even classics can hold some surprises… with, as a bonus, an unexpected detour into French rock.
