Customs duties
Some countries apply customs duties from certain thresholds:
- United Kingdom: starting from 135 £
- United States: starting from 1 $ USD. For deliveries to the United States, customs duties apply from 1 USD. All fees are settled at payment, with no additional charges.
- Switzerland: starting from 40 CHF
- Canada: starting from 20 $ CAD

- If you choose delivery by DHL in one of these countries, please note that this carrier applies customs handling fees in addition to customs duties and delivery payment.

The delivery method is chosen after confirming your cart on the website; simply select the "Pickup" option. You will then receive a pickup confirmation email within 2 business days.

Returns
- Once the order is received, you have 14 days to return the socks for an exchange and 7 days for a refund.
- Pairs must not have been opened or tried on. The tag must not be removed.
- For hygiene reasons, underwear cannot be returned.
- Download the return form in FR version or EN version for any postal return. This form can be printed or filled out online and sent by email to serviceclient@meschaussettesrouges.com.
Returns can be made:
- Directly at our Paris store
- By postal shipping at your expense to the store address - please contact us if this is due to our error.
For postal shipping, please print the Return & Exchange Form FR version or EN version, include it in the package or send it to us by email at serviceclient@meschaussettesrouges.com.
In all situations, please notify us by email before returning the socks. You can use the contact form.
Several very different reasons may lead you to return the socks you ordered from Mes Chaussettes Rouges. To organize the return of the socks, here are some details:
1/ Quality issue: The socks undergo four independent inspections after manufacturing. However, some operations, such as reknitting, are always done stitch by stitch, so a defect may occur. In this case, after notifying us, you can send them back to the return address below.
2/ Size issue: The size of the socks surprises many of our customers, confused by Italian sock sizes. Although they are close, sock sizes differ from English and American shoe sizes.
Moreover, new socks often look larger than those most commonly found in stores:
- Because they are not elastic on the foot, only for support at the top of the shaft (shin).
- Because new socks are ironed, the fibers are therefore stretched and appear larger than they actually are. The actual size of the socks appears after the first wash.
3/ Shipping error: If we made a mistake in preparing your order, we will of course proceed with an exchange.
4/ Withdrawal: As provided by the Chatel law, the customer has 7 days to withdraw. No justification is necessary. However, we would be very happy to know your reasons.
